The Sky Light has been used in Asia for centuries as a symbol of light overcoming darkness. Sky Lights 2017 is all about rememberance, remembering loved ones, remembering events, or even just in celebration of a happy memory.

Make a donation of €10.00 and we will send you a free Sky-Light so you can join us on 10th September 2017 for our Night of Lights.

If you put your loved one's name in the "In memory of" box we will also add it to our Memorial Wall.

The Sky Light Lantern is made from white flame-retardent paper with a solid fuel heat source. The Sky Light is 40cm tall. Each Sky Light will reach around 1000 metres in the air and the fuel source burns for about 5 minutes. Our sky-lights are sourced from the UK amd are CE marked.

Because we lose our loved ones in so may different ways we are also providing the option of splitting your donation to Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland with your, or your loved one's favourite charity.  We have added a list of all the Revenue Approved charities with CHY numbers and you can choose any charity from that list.

Thought for the Day

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there... I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight...
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry—
I am not there... I did not die...

Thought for the Day

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was and let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant.  It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting,  when we meet again.
